Orthopaedic Surgery Resident Fund

Residents in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth receive unparalleled education through access to faculty and the inclusion of the latest technologies and tools. From the fundamentals through exposure to all of the major subspecialties within Orthopedics, resident education is comprised of three main components: knowledge, skills, and experience.

We support these future health care leaders in every way possible, including financially. However, funding is limited, making it difficult for residents to maximize their educational and research experience by taking full advantage of the opportunities available to them. The Orthopaedic Surgery Resident Education Fund's primary purpose is to benefit residents by supporting their education and rewarding those who work on projects that advance our field.

Your support of any amount enables the UTHealth Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program to continue a legacy of excellence, vibrancy, and innovation. In addition, it launches the next generation of orthopedic surgeons toward their goals.
