Healthy Eating Active Living Program

Combining education, exercise, and support, the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) program offers women who are pregnant or have an infant the opportunity to build a healthier lifestyle for themselves and their babies, setting them on a path to greater wellness. To help combat and prevent disease, the initiative empowers participants to eat more nutritious foods and be physically active.

During this six-week program, a registered dietitian and community health worker deliver cooking classes, breastfeeding education, and exercise sessions in a supportive group environment. Participants receive fresh fruits and vegetables to bring home after each class. The program also provides transportation assistance to enable more women to participate.

With a donation today to the Healthy Eating Active Living program, you will help women develop the necessary habits to empower them—and their children—to lead healthier lives.
