The Cupboard

While focused on learning how to improve health for whole populations, some graduate students at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health face food insecurity themselves. The Cupboard, our very own food and resource pantry, was established to reduce food insecurity, increase positive health outcomes, lower diet-related chronic illnesses, and additionally, accommodate cultural and dietary preferences within our student population.

Adequate food and nutrition play a vital role in every student’s health and academic trajectory. Your gift of any size in support of The Cupboard will help us offer food and resources to these students so that they can secure their own health and well-being as they develop the skills to serve others. The ripple effect of your generosity will be incredible, spreading greater health throughout our communities.
