Institute of Molecular Medicine

Scientists at The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases (IMM) at UTHealth Houston work to understand and prevent diseases at the genetic, cellular, and molecular levels using DNA and protein technologies and animal models. The institute’s nine research centers focus on critical areas of medicine, such as stem cell and regenerative medicine, cardiovascular genetics, autoimmune diseases, and molecular imaging. Your gift to the IMM will help uncover the roots of disease and encourage collaborative drug discovery to solve some of the greatest medical challenges of our time.
