Blackburn, PhD, former executive vice president and chief academic officer at UTHealth Houston and dean of MD Anderson UTHealth Houston Graduate School, the Michael R. Blackburn, PhD, Research Accelerator fund provides the capacity to make strategic investments that drive innovation. Distributions from this endowment provide seed funding each year to advance novel research conducted by teams of students and faculty across UTHealth Houston, while the corpus of the endowment lives in perpetuity as a source of renewing funds to advance the health and well-being of our communities for years to come.
