Henry W. Strobel, PhD, was an icon at UTHealth. An energetic educator and meticulous scientist, Dr. Strobel joined the newly established UTHealth as one of the original faculty members in 1972. Over the years, his compassion, kindness, and patience left a mark on everyone he met.
In honor of his extraordinary work, Dr. Strobel’s friends and former students are spearheading an effort to establish the Henry W. Strobel, PhD, Scholarship at MD Anderson UTHealth Graduate School. By providing financial assistance to outstanding graduate students, this scholarship will continue Dr. Strobel’s legacy of recognizing and celebrating the success of his students.
