From leading teams across health care to organizing COVID-19 vaccination centers, nurse leaders serve as the backbones of our health system. At Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth, the Ambassador Program offers unique mentorship and leadership development activities that help qualified students become confident, competent, and empowered nurse leaders.
The program seeks to create opportunities to expand professional networks for leadership development and to foster effective communication and teamwork skills. Our faculty members mentor students in the Ambassador Program during their final year of school to help set them up for successful careers as leaders.
