As an integral component of the PACE Center, the practice consulting program provides complimentary professional, business, and ethical practice consulting services for dental students, residents, and recent alumni. The practice consulting program, in synergy with the School of Dentistry's business and ethics curriculum, focuses on career development to ensure that our graduates are prepared to make a smooth and dignified transition into the business world of private practice.
Under the direction of alumni S. Jerry Long, DDS and Joe M. Piazza, DDS, our practice consultants offer advice and counseling grounded in professionalism and the ethical principles that govern dentistry. Services offered include career consultation, network and relationship building, contract analysis, mock interviews, shadowing and observation requests, small group meetings, and speaker requests for student and professional organizations.
