Mobile Dental Van
With limited resources and transportation, many people living in underserved communities in Houston and rural East Texas lack access to dental care, which can dramatically impact on overall health. Pursuing a mission to deliver dental care to the people who need it most, the school’s Mobile Dental Van brings the dental care to them. Under close faculty supervision, fourth-year dental students gain valuable hands-on experience providing provide cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other needed procedures, all free of charge. Since oral health care is linked to the body’s overall wellness, your gift will help provide people in need with a future of good health.
